CALMING THE
MIND & BODY

"Burnout is a soul-level exhaustion, a disconnection from your inner spark and purpose. It's feeling empty, drained, and depleted, like a candle with no flame. You may feel ungrounded, lost, and disconnected from your values and passions. Massage and self-care can help reignite your inner light, restoring balance and harmony to your mind, body, and spirit."

Release, Relax, Unwind

Welcome,

I'm Carla

Carla Feher RMT

I'm a massage therapist since 2007. I've had the privilege of helping countless individuals find balance and harmony in their bodies and minds.

My journey began with an intensive 2200-hour program that laid the foundation for my expertise in soft tissue manipulation. I later pursued additional training in cranial sacral, energy healing as well as sound therapy and other modalities to enhance my skills.

I believe that massage is not just a luxury, but a vital tool for prevention and maintenance of overall well-being. By incorporating regular massage into your self-care routine, you can reduce stress, improve flexibility, and boost your immune system.

My goal is to empower individuals to prioritize their health and wellness, and I am committed to providing a safe, nurturing environment for my clients to relax, rejuvenate, and renew.

Sound Therapist, RMT
PHILOSOPHY

"Sound healing with tuning forks is a vibrational journey that harmonizes the body, mind, and spirit. These specialized forks emit specific frequencies that resonate with the body's energy centers, chakras, and cells. As the forks vibrate, they release blockages, restore balance, and align your energy with the universe. The sound waves penetrate deep into your being, quieting the mind, soothing the emotions, and rejuvenating the body. For individuals with ADHD, sound healing can be particularly beneficial, helping to:

- Calm hyperactivity and restlessness

- Improve focus and concentration

- Enhance mental clarity and organization

- Reduce stress and anxiety

- Promote relaxation and sleep

- Support emotional regulation and self-awareness

- Increase productivity and creativity

Let the symphony of sound transport you to a state of serenity, renewal, and harmony, and discover a deeper sense of balance and well-being."

THERAPEUTIC / RELAXATION

Therapeutic Massage can be used to help reduce tight muscles, soreness and pain. During the treatment, I use a range of specialized techniques to help relieve tension, reduce pain and improve circulation. These techniques can include deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, myofascial release and sound therapy*. All treatments are tailored to the individual’s needs and comfort level, so the pressure used is always determined by the client’s tolerance and comfort. I utilize a flowing style of massage to promote general relaxation, which allows me to incorporate other modalities that are gentle but effective for overall calmness of the body.

CUPPING MASSAGE

Cupping has been used for centuries and is based on the ancient Chinese healing art and works by suctioning the skin and tissue to increase blood flow and reduce pain. It can be used all over the body to treat any injury or restriction, similar to therapeutic massage. The silicone, plastic or glass cups are placed on the skin to create a vacuum and create suction on the skin and tissue. Cupping can help with a variety of conditions including sore muscles, joint pain, neck and shoulder pain, headaches, digestive issues, and respiratory issues. It is also used to treat sports injuries, carpal tunnel syndrome, and chronic fatigue. Cupping is a safe and effective way to relieve pain, improve mobility, and promote healing in the body.

PRE/POST NATAL

During pregnancy your body is going through a lot of changes that can result in muscle soreness and decreased circulation. When giving a massage during pregnancy, I use bolsters and body pillows for added comfort and to ensure that you are in the best possible position to get the most benefit from the massage. It can also help you sleep better, relax, and provide relief from the discomforts of pregnancy. Getting regular massages during your pregnancy can help you feel more comfortable and relaxed and can be a great way to take care of yourself and your baby.

TMJ / CONCUSSIONS / MIGRAINES

Combining a therapeutic/relaxation approach with focus on the structures of the neck and head is a great way to alleviate tension patterns and reduce the symptoms related to headaches, dizziness, neck and shoulder tension. The goal of this treatment is to assist in returning the body to a functional state. Massage techniques can help to improve circulation, reduce muscle spasms, and improve range of motion. Stretching can help to improve posture, reduce fatigue, and improve flexibility. The combination of these techniques can help to reduce tension patterns and improve the overall quality of life.

SERVICES

Maria C

"Carla is more than a massage therapist, she is a friend. The first time I went and saw her I wasn’t sure what to expect, but she immediately made me feel at ease. She always asks questions and offers great advice.  I always joke that she is more my therapist than massage therapist.

I have opened up to her about my personal struggles and stresses and she always makes me feel safe, comfortable and heard. I feel rejuvenated after our visits and always look forward to the next one. Carla is a wonderful soul and I am so grateful I have met her"
